ADI is contributing its manufacturing expertise in aluminum design for the CAE Air 1 project — an initiative led by CAE to produce more than 10,000 ventilators. Once again, development and in-plant testing happened in record time. During the pandemic, that commitment meant extra work and strict health measures to meet demand. After many prototypes, a solution was chosen and had to move quickly into production. As usual, suppliers rallied behind ADI to produce extrusions in Quebec, followed by medical-grade anodizing. The project started and finished quickly — and above all, efficiently.
