3D planning and technical design for stainless steel parts
Our planning department turns your ideas and requirements into shop-ready fabrication drawings. Modeling in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, drafting, prototyping and feasibility validation.
Have a sketch on paper or a concept in mind? Our team can turn it into a 3D model ready for fabrication—you do not need a complete drawing package to start.
Shop-floor validation
Unlike an external design office, our planners work next to the shop. Feasibility is validated with the people who will build the part—not only on screen.
40+ years of stainless know-how
Planning at ADI is backed by more than 40 years of stainless processing experience. Our recommendations reflect real material behavior and shop constraints.
Integrated prototyping
From 3D model to physical prototype, everything happens in our facility so you can approve before committing to full production.

FAQ
Questions about 3D planning
Do I need to supply drawings to start a project?+
No. You can send a sketch, a photo, a written brief or a full drawing set. Our team adapts to what you have and works with you to develop the concept through to shop drawings.
What file formats do you accept?+
We work with SolidWorks, AutoCAD (DWG, DXF), STEP, IGES and PDF. If you have another format, contact us and we will find a way.
Is planning included in the fabrication price?+
It depends on the project. For fabrication contracts, drafting is often bundled. For design-only work (no fabrication), we quote planning separately. Request a quote for a precise price.
